Parent Participation Policy
At Corpus Christi School, we rely on the active participation of our parents to foster a strong, supportive, and safe community for our students. To help build this community spirit, the following participation requirements are in place:
Minimum Participation Requirement: Each family is required to complete 30 hours of participation per school year. Participation hours must be completed within the school year (September to June). It will no longer be monitored by term.
- Of these 30 hours, parents must complete 3 mandatory hours for Traffic and Crosswalk Safety Duty (which is equivalent to 6 shifts of 30 minutes each).
- If parents are unable to fulfill these 3 mandatory hours for Traffic and Crosswalk Safety Duty, the responsibility falls on parents to arrange for someone else to cover them.
Spring Picnic Requirement: Parents must also complete an additional 3 hours for the spring picnic, bringing the total required participation hours to 33 per year.
Opt-Out Option: If parents are unable to participate in participation hours, you may opt out by paying a fee of
$900 at the time of registration. (PAD)
Payment will not be deposited if the number of hours are met.
- Parents are responsible for finding suitable work projects and recording their own participation time on-line.
- For safety reasons, children cannot accompany parents when fulfilling their participation hours. Parent must make their own childcare arrangements for their child(ren).
- Any request for special exemption must be made in writing to the pastor or principal.

Participation Opportunities
Parent participation opportunities will be communicated through school email or newsletters and emails, with a link from SignUp.com for some participation opportunities. From time to time, you will receive participation opportunities from signup.com.
